Today is the second post about the Sensitive skin routine and I will talk about cleansing.
Facial cleansing:
Start with a product that feels right for your own skin.
Every skin is different. I would suggest to avoid tea tree oil or menthol
products. Instead you can use aloe or chamomile based ones. Gel, foam or cream,
it is up to you.
If you decide to scrub one with small and soft grains and is
in a creamy product.
Then you can apply a mask, depending on your needs again.
There is a huge and affordable range on moisturising, cleansing or anti-ageing.
Tip to tip: If you decide to
use more than one masks at a time, because you feel your skin needs it, use the
cleansing one first and then the moisturising. Rose, honey, chamomile and aloe
are one of the best ingredients.
When everything is washed off it is advised to use a
cleansing lotion to wipe any residuals or water salts. Moisturising micellar
water or soothing lotions are the products suitable for this step.
Some of my favourite products for sensitive skin:
- Nivea Moisturising micellar water; full review
- Boots Essentials facial toner - cucumber
- Avon Anew Anti-ageing 3-in-1 cleansing water
- Superdrug hydrating face mask; full review
